These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Shortilla mobile application (the "App") operated by Smart Technologies LLC d.o.o. ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Shortilla offers auto-renewing subscription plans that unlock premium features. Subscription details are displayed on the paywall inside the App before purchase.
New subscribers get a 3-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the 3 days end, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid monthly subscription at the listed price.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
To cancel your subscription, go to iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Shortilla → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable law.
We may change subscription prices with advance notice. Apple will notify you of any price increase before it applies. Continuing your subscription after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create in the App (notes, recordings, files). By using the App you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely to provide the App's features (e.g., sending content to AI models to generate summaries). We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any other purpose.

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Smart Technologies LLC d.o.o. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use our trademarks or branding.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or complete. Use of AI-generated study materials as a supplement to, not a replacement for, official course materials.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart Technologies LLC d.o.o. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the three months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Cancellation of your subscription does not automatically delete your account.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Smart Technologies LLC d.o.o. is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
